I have a powermac G5 and as of late I've been getting a light and then a pause on the front light of the computer after I turn it on. I know that two or more generally has something to do with ram but what does one mean? Thats all I get, I reset everything but it doesn't acknowledge the keyboard, or any peripheral for that matter and I can't think of what I may be missing. Worse comes to worse, I will just disassemble it but I don't think that will solve my problems.

Alternate and re-seat the RAM. That has worked for me before with G5s.

Do the fans spin up? Does the display turn on?
Have you changed any hardware recently?

I tried reseating the ram, nothing changed.

The fans spin up, there is no display. I put in a new graphics card recently, thats it. There is no hard drive, i was just trying to get to the ? folder screen. I also found that the cd drive had come unplugged, so i put the cable back in, nothing else, that I can think of atleast.
