Mac OS X 10.5.6 Leopard, newly installed from the genuine retail Leopard DVD using the new Boot-132 installation method that lets you install and update using the retail versions :D

I personally like the OSX86 distro better because it already include all the fixes and drivers without me having to go find them separately. Sometime I boot into OS X and my ethernet connection works while some other some other times it doesn't; a little annoyance but I am happy I don't have to pay the apple taxes. Also, I finally got Leopard to work on the Core i7, 10.5.7 update include support for the Nehalem architecture that Apple use in their Mac Pro. Didn't get much profit of selling it to a friend though.

Yeh, there's various "distros" but I much prefer using something I know is 100% Apple and doesn't have any nasty hacks etc in it, and also you can update it straight from Software Update whereas the iATKOS install I had a while back was very difficult to update. Also I had to apply nearly as many extra drivers etc to iATKOS, like Natit.kext for ATI graphics, as well as mess around removing all the crap they put in it like the different logos in About This Mac etc :P (all I really had to fix on the retail version was graphics and sound kexts)

Trust me, I hate the logo that they out in too. I always pick the distro that doesn't have the modified logo. I know you disagree, but I have a difficult time finding all the drivers especially since I have to do it from another computer since Ethernet card was not setup.
