Just checked the Dreamspark website tonight, it seems that after a long wait (and being told once that my uni wasn't going to participate), my uni has now joined the ranks of those who have access to Microsoft Dreamspark. Created an account tonight...seems its time for me to do some leeching....LEGALLY for once! :P

Heh, it's disturbingly easy to get into Dreamspark though. I've got in twice with no form of authentication :/

Still, my College gives me MSDN-AA, which is better anyway :P

Really? i tried getting into it a few times before they offered it at my uni, and every time it asked me for my student ID.

As for MSDN-AA, yeah, my uni offers it too, but you can only access it if you're doing a course that requires certain MS software, and even so, you can only access that software that you need for the course.

And yeah, I found the same thing with the keys still working after you're supposed to get rid of the software. :P

Dunno how much Community College costs for you lot, but here in the UK, it's probable that you'll come out of uni with tens of thousands of Student Debt.

I meant cheaper as in "get crappier stuff for putting in more" (referencing how the specific university only offers software related to the classes being taken), not actual cost of school :P
