There's a new show on MSDN Channel9 called The History of Windows which will feature archive footage and never-before-seen pictures to tell interesting stories about how Microsoft was back in the day. Each episode will talk about a year in the company's history. The first episode talks about the year 1975, and has footage of Bill Gates talking about writing the first Basic interpreter for the Altair.

Interesting fact from the video (spoiler alert :P ), Bill Gates rewrote a loader program written by Paul Allen so it was 17 bytes instead of 46 bytes.
