OK, I just got this message, it is a little weird, at least to me. Is it safe to press get?

Here is the message:
Subject : ( No Subject )
Size : 32KB
To download, press Get

There is a get button at the bottom of my phone.

I can't say for sure, but I didn't think there was very many, if at all, "dumbphone" viruses (unless it is a smartphone or blackberry, then be cautious.

Certain phone models (and maybe services) send files as a pure attachment that for some reason can't be part of the message (maybe pictures over a certain size). From maybe the looks of it, you might have AT&T, and AT&T sends a message prior to you asking you if you would like to receive it or not (since some people don't have text messaging plans).

I always say NO since it often connects to the internet and costs a fair amount of money when I don't have an internet plan on my phone. I'm also on pay as you go, so its even more expensive. If I don't know who its come from, I never open it. Its quite simple really.

My phone is a Windows Mobile smartphone, I'd never accept anything from people I don't know but I also have an anti virus installed, just for safety.

Hm, my is not a smart phone so I guess I don't really have to worry about it. It's an LG Vu.

Yeah, smart phones have a higher risk for viruses. Considering you have an LG Vu, you have little risk for one..if none.

Honestly I'd be more worried about the if its going to charge to your account.

That'll be a 'push' message - basically a normal SMS text message containing a link to a website, used for downloading applications, sending links to content, spam, etc.
