Yesterday I bought a Bluetooth Keyboard and Dongle and I was wondering if there is a way to automatically have the keyboard connect instead of have me pair it every time I boot into Windows. I am pretty new to this Bluetooth stuff.

If you install the dongle using the software that came in box, and follow the instructions it should pair automatically at every boot, that *is* the expected behavior, if its not doing that then something is wrong.

is it true that the bluetooth sender and reciever must be in direct sight of each other ? ( there cant be any physical barriers between them is what i mean)

mine is at the back of the computer (USB dongle) and I can connect to my phone on the other side of the room. line of site isn't necessary, but speed and range will lower (obviously)

If I can (just manage) to bluetooth someone at school a file while I'm on one side and they're on the other, it should work. Your mileage may vary ;)
