I used this file to build a WinPE image, and somehow it messed up. It also created a X partition, but Disk Defrag or Disk Cleanup doesn't recognize my X: partition, so I don't think Windows recognize it. But is there anyway to delete it? The X: partition is based on everything in a folder called WINPE BUILDER in my C:\ directory so if I add anything there, it will also show up in my X: partition. If I delete that folder, the partition is still there, and the icon changes to this:

Is there any way to make this partition disappear?

EDIT: Never mind, the X partition is now gone, all it took was a system restart. I guess this means rebooting your computer can solve so many problems

have you tried the Computer Management? Right click on My Computer and select manage

I don't know about the relation with the folder and the partition, but the partition itself you may remove it with Easeus Partition Manager, Free, and excellent.
:)

____, it does not show up there :(

Chicago, I'll try the program out, hopefully it works.

EDIT: Program doesn't work, it won't let me delete the partition.

It's always worked for me, specially those times where "manage" doesn't work.
It's wonderful, You may resize your main partition and it's done upon one reboot. Really useful and trustworthy!
:)
Hope you solve your problem soon!

Crazy idea, but try booting into a Ubuntu live CD and deleting the partition using the partition editor in the installation process.

Now I know what happened when I restart my computer and find all my NTFS partitions have been removed...
