Well, maybe. There's large quantities of methane on Mars which could be produced by life on the planet.

Or, as the article says, it could be from geographical activity...IMO that is far more likely.

if there is some form of life on mars, i think it will be a long time before we find it. Maybe if we ever go there.

No.

The Geographical Activity on Mars is almost that of none, it hasn't been active for a very long time, it's pretty much dead.

There is a strong chance that microbes, bacteria and other forms of life (I.E Algae) could be living on Mars, as the Methane levels seem to coincide with that of the heating of the Water Vapor on Mars.

While the Environment on Mars is very hostile, many organisms can live in Environments much more harsher then that of Mars, I would be more slanting to the side that simple basics of life is living on Mars.

But as ___ has said, it wont be for a very long time until we know for sure whether there is life on Mars or not.

I find it more likely there is a slight amount of geological activity than living bacteria on mars.

for some reason this has made me want to play spore...

I thought they found fossilized bacteria there?

Not on Mars they haven't, yet.

Unless you're talking about the Mars Meteorite found deep in Antarctica that has the shape and characteristics of bacteria/life inside of it.
