I got the beta downloaded from Microsoft yesterday, and tried to install it today...

Everything was right (I was even surprised at the install speed!!!) until it restarted and tried to complete the installation.

I'll try to detail what happened:

After it got into the "Completing the installation" stage, it kept running for a few fair minutes.
The screen resolution as readjusted to normal, then it started to work on my bluetooth device(I suppose this because the bluetooth light on my notebook was flashing), and everything was fine till then.
About 1 minute went past, then an error message bumped up:"Windows could not update the computer's boot configuration. Installation cannot proceed."
My jaw dropped. Wonderful... I pressed OK, then the system restarted.
After booting into Win7 again, it said something like:"The installation was restarted unexpectedly or an error occured. To continue installing Windows, please click OK to proceed installation."
My mind went like "Phew" and did as it said. But I was disappointed as I bumped into the same screen no matter how many times I restart.
I tried to reinstall the thingy, but nah.

Help please?

Please tell me any info I have to provide, or what I have to check. Thanks. :)

EDIT:
Status Report:
Awesome, just before I got any advice from you guys, I meddled myself into more trouble...
I kept on restarting and finally brilliantly chose the "Last Good Configuration" thingy and find myself not being able to startup...
(After entering the "Setup is starting services" screen, the system fails and restarts)
I ran the "Repair My System" from the Win7 installation disk, but it was unable to fix anything.
Great. Now what?

try an install from scratch, if that fails, burn the disk at the lowest speed possible.

I did.

Ummm...
Wait a sec...
Well, technically, I used "Custom" on the first install, and did it again. It turned my first Win7 install into a "Windows.old" folder...
I don't think it's a problem with the disk, and I did burn it at the lowest speed possible already. Those messages just show up. Since it says that it's unable to update the boot configuration, does it have something to do with BIOS or something?
Anyway, now it won't even startup properly. The system just fails at the "Setup is starting services" screen.
Help, anyone?

Or could anyone tell me how to uninstall Win7 first?
I've never tried to uninstall an OS before, so I don't really get it.

to unninstall delete the entry in msconfig (or a different boot manager your using) and format the drive it son.

first try a different type of dvd if not:

have you tried re-downloading the iso then burning it at half the speed the disc are rated for? sometimes newer disc like to be burned a bit faster anyways :/

I'm now formating the drive...
Should take a long time...

Will install again later, hope it turns up to be successful!

Any suggestions other than redownload or reburn or reinstall?

EDIT: STATUS REPORT:

Splendid. Yet another failure installation.
The same message that urged me to ask for technical support here has appeared again.
"Windows could not update the computer's boot configuration. Installation cannot proceed."
Not having luck...

I thought the "boot configuration" might have something to do with BIOS,
so I checked if there were any BIOS updates, but nah.
I use ASUS Z99H series laptop.
Any tips other from re-download, reburn, or reinstall?
Thanks!

EDIT2:
Help? Anyone?

I found at Neowin that installation logs are stored in a file called "setupact.log", so I checked it up.
Since the problem has something to do with "boot", I looked for "suspicious" actions.
