non-existent.
-> Some Windows 2000 files are too big to fit onto floppy's, and it is an CD only installation.

Where's the source for Windows Vista floppy install? And oh, btw, your link point to Windows XP boot disk to boot Windows XP CD on system that can't boot a bootable CD. So you still install from CD, the floppy part is only for booting up the CD...

Guys.

Windows 2000 has no FLOPPY release (it comes on an CD with bootdisk, yes, but that is not an floppy edition). 8-) 8-)

I have an OEM Builder's copy of Windows Vista Ultimate (I was making a joke about owning it and someone got it for me 8-) )
I have the Windows Xp Professional Disk that was released just before it hit the stores. According to Wikipedia. My copy has an illegal product key that starts with "FCKGW" (I don't need to update, !%@!*^ Microsoft! I modify the Service Pack if I want it.)

The FCKGW key is Devils Own's XP RTM Corp key, released to the interwebs before the XP launch. There's a satrical image about that, I'll try finding it.

They mean the boot floppies, not installation floppies - there's three or so floppies in the box for Windows 2000 that you can start up from if your machine doesn't support booting from the CD, but once you've started up from them you'll have to put the CD in - the installation source is several hundred MBs so couldn't fit onto a reasonable number of floppies, so there was never a floppy-only edition.

I have a lot, but most are packed away in storage. Original media is an important part of my collecting, so I've spent a good deal of effort to acquire original media and avoid downloads (I don't count downloads or copies as parts of my actual collection). This is what I can recall off hand...

    System 6.0.8 (Floppies)
    System 7.0.1 (Floppies)
    System 7.1 (Floppies)
    Mac OS 7.6 (CD)
    Mac OS 8.0 (CD)

On my list of media I'm on the look out for...

    IRIX 6.5 (CD set)
    Solaris 2.5 (CD set)

Not having any original OS cd is hard if you ever bought a Dell stationary computer. I've never bought an OS cd, they've all been included when purchasing a computer. My collection so far:

* Win 95, 98 (98+), XP.

I think these betas may also be "original" but I don't know their history:
Windows NT5 Server Build 1515 (IDed by installing in Viirtual PC 2004 SP1)
Windows NT5 Workstation Build 1592 (Couldn't install but build number is displayed before BSOD)
I bought both of those off ebay along with a similarly packaged Norton Utilities 4.0 disc. all three discs look like something one might recieve at a conference/convention. It seems that Identifying the possible sources of build 1515 may be the easiest way to ID them all since there is so little info in a simple google search. Anyone have advice on how to ID these?
