Hi, Im thinking of getting a flashcart for my Nintendo DS, They are two brands that I have seen lots of on Trademe (it's the same thing as eBay) The DSTT/TTDS and the R4. I have heard good things about both except that now there lots of fake R4s, Anyone have an idea on what I should get.

BTW, A DS Flash cart, lets you put a MicroSD card in your DS so you can load games & homebrew in the form of a .NDS file

For me, i have an R4, and an EZ Flash 3 in 1 expansion pack.
For cards, i like the CycloDS Evolution. Its a great card, and is still supported Site
If you want an R4, the R4SDHC clone is actually better than the R4.
For GBA roms, and ram expansion, get the EZ Flash 3 in 1, and use Rudolph's EXPLoader

I've got a TTDS, and it's a quality product. Can be found extremely cheap from DealExtreme, guaranteed genuine. For the price they sell them at, it's worth trying it out.

I buy flashcarts for gifts all the time.

I'll second the recommendation for the TTDS from DealExtreme. I am not sure how it is physically possible to manufacture them for $6.49 with free shipping.

I have an R4, they work fine, but I've heard good things about the CycloDS. Also, I've owned an R4SDHC and an R4-III Upgrade, and they've both worked fine.
Also, while I'm here, does anyone know a website that ships to UK for flashcarts?

I have a Supercard (it uses SD cards) with a Super Key. I have to say, it's brilliant!

I was actually thinking of getting an R4 from ModChipMan, I wanted it because I wanted to see how it plays video and music and I was looking to see if there is a Firefox for DS or not

there are free web browsers for the ds, none of which have JavaScript if i remember. but definitely no Firefox.

of course you can just get opera for the dsi (when it comes out in your area) and have more on-board ram :P.

and the same people that hacked the wii are starting on the dsi at dsibrew.org (wiibrew.org is the wii one obviously) and considering it has on-board memory you wont need to buy a 3rd party thing.
