Where do you want to go today?

Favourite OS
All Microsoft operating systems!
I already know I'm getting a lot of special stuff for Christmas!

One way I know for sure: I had to get my 1989 Toshiba T1200XE Laptop PC early because it didn't come with the power supply! :P

Unfortunately I couldn't find one that worked. :(

But anyway, what I really want is the surprise (that's why it's so fun anyway)! :P

My favorite was the Atari TT (or was it ST? think TT was the newer one) with that fat 23 inch black'n'white screen. It was that huge you almost couldn't lift it up with TWO people.

(Why the apostrophies? "Wha't" and "Wan't"?!?!)

Yes cool stuff is cool, but way too slow, Core 2 Duo all the way, the fastest duo are actually faster than the mainstream quads on single thread programs (which is most programs). The E8600 is problary the best one out there with a decent price tag.

Is there a superpi program for windows 3.1? So I can actually test how long does it take to calculate pi to 1M digit? :P

I think I will rather have a new computer than an old one :P.

When I have to chose for an old one I think I would like to have a Windows 3.11 computer again.

My oldest computer I own is a pentium 3 8). I don't like that much old computer, I more like to test betas on new computers (however it is very expencive).

I asked my computer-related friends to get me XT as a New Year present... no one managed to find that stuff... I think it's really hard to find it in Russia..) the oldest machines I ever seen were Soviet large ones (some of them were even ibm-compatible).. and then it comes ibm pc/at...i have one :)

When it comes to old computers I aren't too interested in things like Commodore 64s. I prefer Pentium II/III era machines because they remind me of when I first got into the internet (Even though my PC was an AMD running 98SE). The first PC we had wasn't a PII or PIII, it ran 95 though, got thrown away a few years ago by my Dad.
