Opinions and experiences are welcome :)

I would like to know anyone tried crossfire on different cards before? Did crossfire even offer major advantages?

I have not used crossfire yet. But im planing on getting 2 of the New ATI Radeon Cards and using crossfire on them. :D

I have done it with the 2900xt and the 2900 pro (256bit, that one is not the same as the 2900xt, it also has 1 power connector instead of 2 like the 2900xt).

But this worked perfectly.

Check this for compability charts:

This is from dec07, this means the 48xx serie is missing in the charts.

Does that mean the 4xxx series are more flexible for crossfire?
