be careful though, they've just released a new wii drive that blocks every wii chip on the market today, so far its only in australia though

might not have made it to the store yours is coming from. it won't be long before there is another anyway.

you can always do a soft mod and hire zelda and install the homebrew channel and away you go

Aren't they putting an epoxy seal around the chip that the modchip attaches to?

yes, but the newer drives lack said chip entirely, but they're a rarity right now

Well, i'd recommend the Wiikey v2,
But if you want more features, its a little more expensive, but the Wasabi v3 is good.

Personally, i softmodded.
