In regards to a PS2 USB cooling fan:

Could you use this on a PC seeing as its a USB device? The fan on my old laptop has died (yes, cheap replacement) and it goes in the same place as the current fan.

Just curious.. :^)

It only runs off the power from the USB, so I'd say 99.9% certain it will work with your laptop.

Its probably better to fix your Laptop fan - Open the fan and check for dust or broken blades...

This thing will probably eat more power and work less efficiently.

I would use it only temporarily...

You probably won't know this (he has mentioned this somewhere else), but Happy Dude's old laptop hasn't the intention of being used as a laptop (if you see what I mean).

Plus the fact

1) There is no dust in it, I dismantled it all and cleaned it
2) Some blades broke, while theyre not in there anymore it makes this annoying hurr
3) Can't find a replacement anywhere
