Hi, I am making a program to show the paths of objects under the influence of gravity and I need a graphics library to work with. It will be 2d, and I should be able to at least say to put a point at x,y(pixel coordinates). Help?

SDL is a great and simple graphics library for both 2D and 3D development, which is available for all the major platforms. Here is a great tutorial (I learned the basics - what you need, according to your post - in two days).

Both. It's also available for OS9, OSX, Solaris, *BSD, BeOS, and IIRC it even runs on MenuetOS.
