Very nice! I saw you post it on MacRumors' PowerPC Mac forums as well. That should do quite well for the PowerPC Winter Challenge if you're gonna join in, plus, no watercooling system to worry about. That reminds me that I still need to overhaul the LCS in my Quad...

I might as well share the specifications of my Quad while I'm posting here:

PowerMac G5 Quad
2.5GHz CPU (2 Dual Core CPUs, 4 Cores in total)
Delphi Dual Pump LCS (To be overhauled)
10GB PC2-4200 DDR2 RAM (will eventually upgrade to 16GB)
GeForce 6600 256MB GDDR PCI-Express GPU (Will eventually upgrade)
1TB Toshiba HGST 7200RPM HDD (OS X Leopard 10.5.8)
500GB Seagate SSHD (Ubuntu Mate 16 for QEMU-KVM Experimentation)

I paid $50 for the system a few months ago, it came with everything listed, except the storage drives (it had the original HDD)

Lovely! I'd really, really like to get my hands on those IBM workstations... At the moment, though, I can only dream of them.

Thought I'd start lurking around here again. Have tried to move everything I regularly use over to SSD-only and switch to IPS displays.

Custom Desktop:

- Intel Core i7 6800k
- 16GB (4x4GB) Corsair 2800MHz Dominator Platinum LED RAM
- ASUS X99A-II motherboard
- Samsung SM951 NVMe 256GB SSD / Samsung PM961 NVMe 256GB SSD / Samsung PM841 SATA 256GB SSD / WD Blue SATA 500GB SSD
- MSI RX580 GAMING X+ 8GB
- Corsair 400C case
- Corsair 850W modular PSU
- AOC 34" UltraWide 3440x1440 IPS / NEC 29" UltraWide 2560x1080 IPS / LG 29" UltraWide 2560x1080 IPS
- CM MasterKeys Pro M RGB (MX Blue switches) / SteelSeries Sensei Wireless
- Windows 10 Pro

Laptop:

- Toshiba Satellite Radius 12 2-in-1

Really not exactly ideal for me, screen is slightly too small, keyboard is a bit crap, I don't need a 2-in-1 form factor, touchscreen, or 4K display, nor a 512GB SSD. Was about to buy a ThinkPad X220 or something then spotted this for £260, which for the specs is very hard to say no to.

- Intel Core i7 6500U
- 8GB DDR3
- Toshiba M.2 (SATA) 512GB SSD
- 12.5" 4K IPS touchscreen
- Windows 10 Home

Extras:

- PowerMac G5 / 2x 80GB / 2GB / OS X
- PowerMac G4 / 40GB / 1GB / OS X
- to-be-completed 775 Custom Build - NZXT Phantom / Intel Core 2 Duo E6550 / 2x 1GB DDR2 / 32GB M.2 SATA SSD in enclosure + 4x 80GB HDDs / FSP 250W PSU / various XP-era OSes
- Dell Precision M90 / 160GB / 2GB / 17" 1920x1080 / Kubuntu
- Toshiba laptop / Pentium MMX / 16GB CF-to-IDE / 16MB RAM / Win98
- Personal VPS / single 2011v3 Xeon core / 2GB DDR4 / 20GB SSD / Windows Server 2012

Looking for more boxes like this, have the extreme temptation to put it in a datacentre where there's spare space, but also know that's not the most sensible of ideas.

Compaq Proliant DL360
2x P3 1GHz Tualatin
2GB SDRAM [4x512MB Reg ECC]
2x 72GB UltraSCSI 320 15,000RPM HDDs
VMWare ESX 2.5

I'd check the capacitors in that power supply to make sure they aren't bulging, Antec was known for cheaping out on the capacitors in most of their power supplies back then.

Thanks for telling me that. Infact, the old PSU (which was a compaq oem) had bulging caps.

Noice. I used to run a Phenom II X4 810 with 8GB of DDR2-1066 RAM, a Radeon HD 4650, 160GB Hard Drive, DVD-RW DL drive, and Windows Vista. The motherboard was a GIGABYTE GA-MA78GM-US2H, which later died a year after. (i kinda hated that mobo anyway)
