I just finished this game about several hours ago. Ending was a little disappointing, but overall, despite being shorter, I thought that this was way more fun than the original. "Hectic" is the word I would describe it with.

Just in case that you guys were wondering, I'm getting about 20-30 frames per second on a mixture of "Gamer"/"Enthusiast" settings on a GeForce 8800 GT at a resolution of 1280x1024, and it looks fairly good. But there is massive stuttering every time a cutscene loads, and I found the loading times to be longer than they were in the original. So much for the "engine optimization" they were all talking about.

The multiplayer has marginally improved, thanks to the inclusion of TDM, but it's not anything I would play for more than 20 minutes at a time. Power Struggle is still a relative bore, although it has been streamlined.

Overall, a good way to kill a half a weekend for 30 dollars. 8/10.

And a word about the SecuROM in this game... I haven't had any problems with it so far.

Good to see the graphics aren't entirely unrealistic for Warhead. Great hardware requirements review XX55XX, made me want to Google for an image of the game, which I guess means you got me interested

Well, seems that the stuttering is very common in Warhead; many people are complaining about it.

I hope a fix comes out soon. My computer ran Crysis way better than this.

Update: There is a solution to this. Drop your "Textures" setting to "Mainstream". That should end most of the stuttering. Apparently, Crysis Warhead is using only up to 256mb of VRAM.
