I am having this problem with my home network. Two laptops connect wirelessly to the internet. They can access the internet wirelessly just fine most of the time. I have tried to set things up so that they can share files with each other. The computers appear in the Network folder, but clicking on the names brings up an error saying ''The specified network provider name is invalid''. I have selected all the options to enable file sharing in the network & sharing folder and even adjusted the firewall settings so that File and Printer sharing can be enabled. I also setup the computers so that they act as Media devices, and in Windows Media Player, they can be accessed as Media devices and Media Player plays the files OK, but I can't access the computer's through the Network folder. Please can somebody help me?

Thanks! :)

Not sure I can provide you with a solution to that problem, but you might try typing in "\\[computer IP address]" in the address bar (ex. \\192.168.1.23).
