I have an old handheld scanner, which uses Genius GSIF interface. It's a monochrome scanner working under DOS.
I remember, that there was a DOS imaging software, which could combine two monochrome PCX images into one with automatic detection of scanned overlapping parts.
What is a company and name of this program? I remember it had a nice mouse-driven GUI. Sometimes, after trying to combine pictures there was an error like "selected sides are not equal" and you had to combine it using horizontal sliders.
