Sorry if I am posting this in the wrong topic, but here goes.

On the Betaarchive FTP server, I've notice that the alpha builds of Longhorn, Build 3683 etc.... are called Longhorn BETA Build <number>. I'm just wondering, but why aren't the alphas called Longhorn ALPAH Build <number>?

We're you saying that they are labeled incorrectly because this site is called /Beta/Archive? That would be a stupid reason.

I think it's just become a rule that all pre-release software on the BA server is to be called "beta" in terms of the actual filename, no matter if it's an alpha, beta, release candidate or whatever.

This happened because of my bad naming system. It will be changed soon when mrpijey has time to repack and rename all of the files on the FTP. This should be completed by the end of the year.

Looks like it was after the reset to me. I couldn't tell you any more specifically than that, sorry. Don't know if that pic is real or not, obviously the clouds and heads aren't.

If you ignore all the crap with clouds and faces, it's just plain old 4074.

Oh lol

I wouldn't of noticed it as 4074, as i've only used 4074 in vmware, and vmware offer no aero at all, so i've only seen the black theme which looked awful

I didn't think that 4074 looked like that or had Aero... or any sort of transparency.

There is, there's just no obvious way to enable it, however, it can be enabled via the run-box:
c:\windows\i386\sbctl.exe start
What I'm curious to know, is why squidward_ posted that pic, when it has little relevance?

He said on Joejoe that it's his sig. However, for some reason he's copying/pasting the bbCode in every post, and if it is indeed a Sig, it's far too big and against the rules, and I or another Mod will have to remove it.
