I am looking to buy a well working 24" CRT. If anyone has one they would like to get rid of, please leave a message.

I might be able to get one cheap for you, but shipping would be incredibly expensive.

Question, why a CRT? LCD's arent that expensive now and I could go buy a 24" LCD for ~$250AUD if I wished.

My current 24" CRT is about to die... and there isn't a repair shop that is willing to work on it. It flickers from bright to dim all of the time, and there is this squiggly line that is always going down the center of it.

Personally, I don't like LCDs. Especially, I do not like their color depth/contrast, their refresh rate, and especially the new fad of wide screen. To get what I want out of an LCD, I would be paying quite a lot of money. Also, not only would my 3d glasses not work, but also, a lot of my old machines wouldn't display on an LCD.

Anyway, I don't mind shipping. My goal is to get one cheaper than $225 USD, shipped, as I can get one with a 6-month warranty for that much at: http://www.accurateit.com/details.asp?iid=1241

I appreciate it guys. Thanks

TBH I don't think you are going to get a better deal than that, although it is widescreen (16:10).
