Incorrect. ASDA is a sister company to Walmart. Its run by the same people. Tesco is an independant company.

Quote:
ASDA is a chain of supermarkets in the United Kingdom offering food, clothing and general merchandise products. It became a subsidiary of the American retail giant Wal-Mart in 1999,[1] and is currently the second largest chain in the UK after Tesco, having overtaken Sainsbury's in 2003.

Quote:
Tesco plc is a British-based international grocery and general merchandising retail chain. It is the largest British retailer by both global sales and domestic market share with profits exceeding £2 billion. In 2008, Tesco became the world's fourth largest retailer, the first movement among the top five since 2003.

Its almost impossible to find what you need in Asda, without it taking forever. I also question Asda's adverts, they get people to touch their bum whilst playing the sound effect of money falling 8-)

"24/7" Tesco's near my house is open Monday at 8am - Friday at 10pm, then 8am - 10pm Saturday and 10am - 4pm Sundays. It's a complete lie.

If you average it out it's more like '20.5/6'.

That is really a good prank call (haven't heard one in a while). Anyone in the UK care to see what it says when you press 2?
