You should be able to get both on ebay or ebuyer fairly cheaply. What type of 512MB RAM is it you want? DDR, DDR2? What speed? Can't offer anything without that info.

eBuyer is your best bet then, unless ebay have some cheaper deals, but I doubt it. Even if they did it would probably have no warranty.

I'd buy the RAM On NewEgg even if it costs a bit more. It's much more reliable.

More expensive RAM doesn't mean its more reliable. You go for a make you know is reliable. For example I know OCZ is reliable and very fast memory. Other people might go for Kingston or Crucial etc. But I am an OCZ person after being recommended it. It also turns out to be the cheapest of the good makes as well and has lifetime warranty throughout their ranges.
