Now that I got your attention,

Well, today I got my thin client, a WYSE Winterm W3235LE, running Windows CE 5.0. I booted it up, and it works great, although I don't yet know what I'm going to do with it. My mom is amazed that a computer can fit into such a small space :P

Yesterday, I ordered a bunch of stuff from RetroSoftware.com, and to my suprise, I got a box today with all my stuff.

If anyone wants some of this, I can upload it...
I can also take pix and scan stuff, if people really want to see the azn Windows :P

In the box was:
-Encarta 99 (Jewl Case)
-"Microsoft Solutions Development Kit", which looks to be for some BETA thing, I haven't really looked at it yet. Its designed for Windows 95 and is published by MSDN.
-Internet Creator 3.02f, an early Windows 95-era website design program, shrinkwrapped NIB
-Windows 95 Japanese, with IE starter kit, and IME97
Comes in box with 3 CDs, a 24 step guide to installing MSN, an IE manual that looks like a comic book, and then the standard Windows 95 manuals.
-A sealed copy of Windows 3.1 made for French Canada, sealed NIB
-Microsoft BackOFfice Small Business Server 4.5 upgrade, with Outlook 2000! and an unfilled registration card :P

I'm eager to see if I can install SBS on my Dell. How do I get around the upgrade requirement?

What happens when you try to install it, does it ask for a disk for a previous version of Windows or a product key? (and if so which versions qualify?)

I'm not sure, I haven't tried it yet, I've got to get a new HD for the Dell, as my 80gb finally kicked the bucket.

Where do you want to go today?

All Microsoft operating systems!
I'm glad you got that stuff in the mail today. Another member by the name of "AnDrEwP182" ordered a huge collection of MSDN CD-ROM's which included some Windows 2000 and Millenium Builds a few months ago from the same website. It sounds like a great website to get things like this. :) The good thing about RetroWare is that you are allowed to sell betas, unlike with eBay (I think that's why the Windows NT 4.0 Beta CD-ROM that I found a couple of weeks ago misteriosly disappeared from the eBay listing 8-) ). You should check for old Beta software in this collection though. However, it all sounds very intresting to me.
