Here's something that can be fun to do, confusing to less-knowledgeable users, and an added form of security against people who don't know how to get past the Welcome screen to the old style logon: have a blank logon screen :D

You do this by going into regedit, go to HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\SpecialAccounts\UserList and add
ing a DWORD for each other user on the system (ie. for the accounts you have created since setup).

This can be used to create some WTF-fage among some people. :twisted: Of course, it's easy to bypass by pressing CTRL-ALT-DEL twice, but some people don't know to do that.

You can also use TweakUI to remove all user accounts from the login screen. But it would suck to return from sleep/hibernate only to find that you can't access your desktop :twisted: (of course I know you can turn that off)
