I'm currently using NOD32 only and no anti-spyware app, which is not very good. I've tried Norton Antivirus and Kaspersky Antivirus but I am not satisfied with them. Would you like to suggestion a good anti-virus and anti-spyware app to me? Thanks so much! :)

I don't use any. When I must, I use Avast/Kaspersky (have a copy lying around somewhere), but I really don't see the need.

Same, have Kaspersky for checking files that come from places where they could be infected, but don't have anything running all the time, it just slows your PC down. SpyBot is good for checking for spyware if you want to check every so often, but again no need to have something running all the time.

Didnt we have a few topics about this already?

But anyway, use an anti-virus that suits your needs, not based on what others think (maybe some input) but i mean that you need an Anti-Virus that would do the job in your case, and with the version your feel comfortable with.

I use Kaspersky Antivirus and the built in Windows Defender. I think Kaspersky does a good job.

Honestly, the last time I used Norton Internet Security it was a load of [censored]. That was years ago though. XP/Vista already have build in firewalls on the incoming side. Not sure if Vista's blocks any outgoing traffic or not. I just remember that it gave false positives way too often and notified the user about things that most people wouldn't even understand, let alone need to be notified about.

Symantec's has always been alright though, they cut way back on the poor UI design. Now that I think about it though, 50% of the time it can't actually remove the malware that it finds and just notifies the user repeatedly, which is really annoying.
