For those who don't what Twilight is - it's a 2005 novel by Stephanie Meyer.

A few months ago, I decided to get myself a copy of Twilight - since it seemed that everyone else (girls mainly) was reading it, and since the critics have praised it as a good read.

Unfortunately, I was wrong. The book was dull and very fluffy, despite its length and perceptions of possible depth.

My final evaluation of the book is: Twilight is an awful love story with no plot, little characterization, almost every single cliche in the book, and awful prose.

Don't believe the hype. Stephanie Meyer is a mediorce writer at best, and Twilight is only good as a light, mindless read - suitable for preteens and the like, but not for your average reader who demands intelligence from his or her books.
