How can you tell if you get the Power Pack or not?

They should include the PP1. Check the properties of the WHS console.

You will need 256/512 MB RAM and at least 65GB of drive space (expanding off-course)

But on the back you will see this:

Windows Home Server = without

Windows Home Server / WPP1 = With (something like that)
Where you serial is also located.

Thanks, I do not have PP1, but the 256 Megs thing should help, thanks :)

Well, I just tried to install Windows Server 2008 on Virtualbox and it said I needed 512 MB of RAM in order to install, so for right now, until I can get vLite ready, I can't install it yet

Off-course Server 2008 needs 512MB.

But the Home Server = 2003
And the PE = 256MB (but to be on the safe side, use this)

Virtual PC or VMWare
512MB Ram or more
100GB drive

OK, I have a couple of Problems with that:

1. I only have 512 MB of RAM (504 Megs from the Graphics Chip using some)

2. My Drive is only 60 Gigs and so far I can only go up to 20 Gigs so far

Use it in Virtual PC (or are you running linux, download VMWare from the VM site and download a keygen)

And then create an VM with an EXPANDING harddisk, uses only what it installed and no the whole disk.

I was quite suprised when I received from Malaysia the other day, and I hadn't even placed an order for it, Microsoft seems to still send me out all Trial and Eval Products for no reason.
