For Immediate Release

Post by stitch »

Due to the overwhelming number of people becoming moist over Windows 1.00 (I still have no clue why either), I have decided to leak the 0.01 version of the Linux Kernel for immediate release.

Enjoy (:

Linux Kernel 0.01 - From Sept. 1991

You can't leak it if it's on a public FTP of the kernel, now can you?

Ohhhhhhh. Gentlemen, it would seem Zimmy has played a rather clever prank on us all!
You see, instead of releasing a previously unknown piece of software, he conned us all into believing that Linux 0.01 was such a program when it in fact was public from the beginning.

Yes, quite clever...

I think it's on the BA FTP servers too. Still kinda cool if you're into Linux though.
