Favourite OS
Windows XP SP3 (nostalgia)
I have a Dell Optiplex 745 I got from my school after the IT coordinator got clearance to give it to me rather than throw it in a recycling center. Any suggestions on what to put on it? (ps. I am 15 so preferably stuff that is free or that nobody cares about if you pirate it, like XP!)

It really depends on what you're interested in doing. It could work as an XP gaming machine if you install a decent age-appropriate GPU, you could make a router and/or a server out of it, you could install some Linux distribution on it, or slap Windows 7 or even 10 on it if you felt like it (and if it has enough RAM).

And regarding piracy, one could argue that most people, Microsoft themselves included wouldn't care if some person on the internet pirated any Windows release. Also just in case you were ever considering it, remember that buying a key from a reseller in many cases is actually piracy, since it's common for people/reseller sites to sell things such as MSDN or MAK keys, which are not allowed to be resold. In some cases they might even be selling keys bought with stolen card details, which is obviously very illegal for the seller to do. So whatever you decide to do, if you're uninterested in buying a license from Microsoft or another authorized seller directly, steer clear of key resellers.

Windows Defender for great justice! Bugs are an international trading company. I need to defeat the anti-debugging and obfuscation methods. It wasn't for Intel's absurd ability to load in ie6. Why even waste time with people in an envelope?
