On my way to work this morning, I had a bit of a bump... Not quite sure whose fault it was, but it seems a bit of both to be honest...

See the images for an explanation...

That's not too good! How bad is your car?

I've had a couple incidents myself... :P I need to get my car in to get fixed so it looks nice and shiny again. Right now it looks like I'm riding in a bucket. :P

Well from taking a quick look, its got a dent about 30cm long and a scratch where it hit. Apart from that, nothing else visible. I came off worse though, as it was her rear bumper that hit me, so she just got a scratched bumper.

I'm fine. "Its only a scratch" as the saying goes.

Well, the good side is that you're ok. A car can be replaced, but not a human being right?

Anyway, good to know that you're ok.

What make/model is the car anyways?

You're 100% correct. The lady who hit me also came round this evening to see if I was OK. No mention of the cars, she was more concerned for my health :)

Its a Peugeot 306 Diesel 1994 L Reg :)

That's nice to hear for once. Half of the time when you get in an accident the other person is an idiot and tries to sue you for "neck injuries". 8-)

Well that sucks, it's a shame to see the famous "Chug-A-Pug" get damaged, hehe. I'm glad to see it's not too bad though, are you gonna bother trying to fix it? You should count yourself lucky the car behind you didn't shunt you from behind when you stopped after you got hit, lol ...

Does that kind of thing happen alot there? I certainly wasn't keen on the roads there when I was there a couple of years ago, the road are in a worse state and more crowded than over here in France, in my opinion. People arn't too bad here for pulling out in front of you, but they do need parking lessons, the number of times somebody has reversed into my car in redicilous!

Speaking of which, I finally got my car running today! After more than 6 months of it sitting in the garage. It needs a new battery and a good general service, then I have to get it insured and MOT'd, and it's back on the road for me! Eugh, reading that back to myself, that's quite alot, lol. It's so nice to be able to drive again though, I missed it!

Here's a pic of jumpstarting my car, lol ...

Image

Lets hope I can get over to Wales in May to see Gemma and Pendulum live, w00tz! (H)

Sorry, that's totally irrelevant to your topic Andy, lol ... 8-)

I was thinking... maybe I should post a picture of my busted up car. (now nicknamed the bucket). When I get the chance I'll snap some photos when I get the chance and edit this post. :)

When I put them up don't bash it too much. My car is actually pretty embarrassing to roll up in. I have to roll down my window to open my door... actually now I need to roll down the back window behind me and reach out and open my door. LOL.

I had a good number of accidents since Oct 2007...
