Hey all,

If you can remember (probably 0.01%) i posted about a virus. Well, i went into Linux, installed avast! and it found it. Turns out it was a trojan.

It's still scanning, so i will post more results later!

Everyone say Yay Linux!

If i remembered it correctly the post of the original virus topic was made at the end of january.

Well i hope it resolved it.

But when u are back on Windows install a GOOD antivirus and scan every week (Full System Scan).

But i would recommend, (the virus files are still there even if removed) my recommendation about removing a virus (only if serious),
backup the files to another harddrive and pop in a Windows PE disk.
Use diskpart and select disk 0 and clean all (writes all sectors with 0's) then reinstall windows and install that GOOD anti-virus client.

You can use AVG Free, but consider buying a packet sometimes scannes for more virusses and cleans more virusses then free ones.

Maybe it stands here:

http://www.sophos.com/security/analyses/search-results/?search=Win32%3AAgent-LKF+trojan&product_search=virus_search&action=search

How it works:
It installs itself in the registery and some monitor browers.

Sophos ant-virus is a good antivirus for businesses, when something is found, just go to the server and then you can click on it to delete it and find some information about it.
And you can deleted the virus of someone computers without have to touch the computer, just deleted over the network.
