I was at the thrift store getting work pants (last pair lasted about a month, so I don't see a need to spend $30 on pants that get destroyed) and I managed to pick up a USB floppy drive for $8. I had a dual 3.5" and 5.25" floppy drive (epson sd-800) that ran off a standard connector. I was thinking of getting a 5.25" enclosure, finding one of these drives again (unless I still have mine), and using the hardware from the USB floppy to access the drives.

Think it'll work?

edit: there's a long topic on my model here
