Hardware trading

Post by RentedMule »

Is anyone interested in trading some hardware? I have lots to trade from PDA's to SGI and SUN machines. Its all cluttered and no one on the hardocp/anandtech seems to like this stuff. They all seem interested in bleeding edge hardware. Let me know if there is any interest and Ill throw up what Ive got for trading.

I'm interested in any RISC/UN*X machines, especially SGI.

Shame you guys don't live round here - someone's giving away a load of old Sun Ultra workstations on the uni free stuff list at the moment. There's been DEC Alpha, SiliconGraphics etc stuff on there recently as well.

Some stuff

Post by RentedMule »

Here is some stuff Ill throw out there for now:

PDA's Include:
- a Palm Zire (31 I think)
- Sharp SL-5500

Machines:
- 2x Silicon Graphics O2's
- 2x Sparcstation 5's
- 2x SGI Octanes
- 1x SiliconGraphics 320 (This machine is not complete. It has everything but the dual cpus and VRM)
- Buttload (technical term!) of Cyrix Media GX machines ranging from 133mhz to 300

Ram:
- Bagfulls of SDRAM Dimms ranging from 16MB to 64MB (Im sure there are a couple of 128's in there as well)
- Bagfulls of 72pin SIMMS, ranging from 4MB to 128MB
- Bagfulls of 30 pin SIMMS, ranging from 1 to 4 MBs

That is just a quick off the top of my head. If anyone at all seems interested in this kind of stuff, I can make a more complete list. Make me a fair offer. It's time to move things around
