The video that's below is a prototype of Windows 7 (codename: Vienna). It demonstraights the operating system from a business perspective, which we can all imagine on how amazing it should be from the personal perspective. You can expect to see lots of customization in the new upcoming Windows OS. Anyway, enough talking...

<object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/1YwCev1p1U4&rel=1"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/1YwCev1p1U4&rel=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>

As for those who may go "Fake!", just think about this...
Why would they fake that video? Come on!! Even if it's just a concept, it shows most of the areas which have been developed.

Expect to see screenshots soon!!

It's not a fake although it's actually not Vienna. In fact it isn't a video of any os, it's "just" a concept of how computing might look like in the future. I'm fairly certain that we'll see similarities between this and Vienna but it'll be in the same way you can see similarities between Vista and early Longhorn concepts.

PS I hate the name Vienna and think they should've stuck with the codename Blackcomb. Seven or Vienna would be great for a final name but it's not a "proper" codename. :P

Oh my, you're the perceptive one, aren't you? ;)

I can't remember exactly from when or where this video is but it is the real thing. It might even be from 2005/2006 and as I said before it's a concept of how computing might look in the (fairly) near future.

Personally I love the seamless integration between the devices and the idea of everything being "in the cloud". It shows that what we use is becoming less and less important, that the data we work with is what's important. Sort of what they did with the Athens computer but on steriods. :)

I don't like the theme too much, but I do like the way it works. I mean, it looks as if it "just works". The way the Mac OS does it. :P

I actually thought that it was Windows 7. I hope they do include some of the features from the video though. It would be great :P
