This site has for sale Fujitsu Stylistic 1000 tablet PCs. These are some of the early tablet PCs: 486 processor, 8mb of RAM, 8" black and white screen etc. They have them there for US$30... however, that doesn't include a battery, power supply, any storage, any RAM, or stylii.

By the look of the specs, this was probably designed to run Windows for Pen Computing or maybe even a release of Windows 95 with the pen computing extensions.

Anyhow, I thought I'd post the link in case anyone's interested in buying a machine to try out Windows for Pen Computing on a real pen-based computer. :D

Had one of those long ago. Windows 3.1 + Pen Computing ran fine on it, Windows 95 was too slow due to only 8 MB of RAM. Sadly, it died shortly after I got it. :(

Sorry, we do not have pens, batteries or power supplies for these units.

Now, that sucks. Batteries and PSU-s can be easily replaced with anything, but finding a matching digitizer pen is almost impossible. I know it, I'm seeking for a Dauphin DTR-1 pen since 2005.

If anyone needs a copy of Windows for Pen Computing, we have it on OABW at this link. If you need Windows 3x, it's all available here.
