im having trouble putting wince on the psp. It starts up and it crashes at 70%. Then it displays a message so fast i cant read it. I downloaded a windows ce vhd image from hpcfactor and copied the contents into my fat32 formatted c.img. Then it takes me to the command prompt. It wont load.I used this guide:

http://my.qj.net/Loading-Windows-CE-On- ... 49/aid/513

It also states no pci bus deteced, could that be the problem?

Try this:

loadcepc hpc2000.bin /D:0 /L:640x480x16

The PCI Bus is used to detect a network card. If there is no PCI Bus, loadcepc assumes the card is an ISA NE2000-based Ethernet adapter

Code:
Error image section doesn't in allocated block.
Block allocated at 0x110000.

You don't have enough memory.

I don't have the HPC 2000 Platform Builder. I have CE 6.0.

BTW, The UI is like HPC 2000.

It turns out that you need 28MB of RAM (Minimum for any CE-Explorer Build).

Quote:
Or is everyone bluffing?

Yes.

WinCE x86 DOS Boot Process

1. Dos Boots
2. DOS Loads Himem.sys
3. Dos gives control to command.com
4. Command gives control to LoadCEPC.
5. LoadCEPC Scans hardware.
6. LoadCEPC takes chunk of memory for OS Image. ; This is where you are stuck.
7. Windows CE takes 4MB for RAM Registry.
8. Windows CE uses the rest for the GUI.

Well, the MIPS architecture is somewhat supported as a QEMU host, so it should run on PSP-Linux.
