Hey, its that time again. I was just wondering what gifts you have asked for (or what you would like to get) for the holidays. Have fun!

Not much...just a simple person...

1) That my family enjoy the gifts I'm getting them
2) Enough money to replace this dead 2.4Ghz laptop I have

I'd never have thought to read something like that from you.

Yeah, my wishlist:

– Money for an ultraportable (partially getting, rest is my business).

Power Mac G3s are much better I got mine for nothing and recently got a G4 500 MHz CPU upgrade for it for just £3, and it's awesome With an iMac you're stuck with limited graphics power, the built-in screen, and they're nowhere near as easy to upgrade.

If the CD Rom dies... your in a lot of trouble
I had to hookup the HDD and CDRom to my tray loader iMac G3 the other day, iMac powered the CDRom, had to get power for HDD from my desktop. Very messy.

I'm considering getting one of the G4 iMacs for use as a picture frame in my living room. It looks beautiful, and could be used for surfing the net, too.

As for my Christmas list, it is just a couple of video games, an exercise bicycle, and a video card.
