Forget DNS/HTTPS or DNS/TLS, the future is DNS over Avian.

My current "desktop" on my laptop at the moment:

All of the apps running (except the pager and the two iconised shell sessions (the service@server: ~ buttons) are actually running on my desktop machine, and presented over the network from my desktop machine with NX.

same as last month

I'm working on getting an intel-based PC from ebay to run OS X on. Can anybody recommend any particular brand/model?

Why not get an old Power Mac G3 or G4? They're very cheap now, even free if you're lucky, but still run OS X pretty fast and of course work better with OS X than the hacked versions do on a non-Apple machine.

Admin edit: Image made into a link. Please use the BA image uploader for all future images. It does state this in the rules.

@luca1988
Could you tell us what the message is saying? Does the word in the brackerts mean "unknown"?
Also, the image is pretty big. Could you link to a thumbnail instead? It messes up the page layout.

I think it says something like:
<unknown> has caused an error in <unknown>
<unknown> has to close (? not sure about that)

If the problem persists
(guessing here considering the problem)contact your computer provider

As a programmer, I see this all of the time "<unknown> in module <unknown> at address <unknown>" or something to that affect. More or less, there was a thread running off, doing its own thing, and the host process is dead and gone, and Windows has already cleaned it all up. You would never see this in Windows 9x, because there was no cleanup for a bad processes mess.
