There was a spray up on ebay which supposedly increased wireless speeds, what a load of crap.

I ended up with my current machine 'cos someone I know did that ;)

The machine kept freezing on him and he kicked the front in, I ended up with it and now, a new case/HSF/HDDs/more RAM later I have my current system... turned out that the reason it was unstable if the CPU fan had more dust than an abandoned underground library full of old sawdust...

But he never got to find that out ^_^

My cuz works in a computer shop, and he told me of a couple that had had an argument and the computer got cought in the middle along with a pair of sissors, everything in the pc got cut and stabbed apart from the pentium 4 CPU sitting under the heatsync, of course the couple didnt know that when they handed what was left of the family computer over :P

I have such a headache with Realtek network cards under any OS. So many times do they get detected but wont recieve a single packet... just send. I have a specific one that I use in my old Win 3.11 box that requires a certian cable of mine to work at all.... the rest causes the same symptoms as above

i just killed a hard drive. i had a laptop hard drive that i put in a caddy to put my music on it for backup and the thing wouldn't copy all the music over so i got pissed and threw the drive on the ground.

i kept getting an error during copying it over. such a stupid one too, like "disk could not find the file specified"

sometimes i wonder why MS windows gives dumb errors. i was copying the files from my desktop hard drive to my laptop hard drive, how can it screw it up :?
