Looks like a row of DIP switches.

Looks like one of them were made by Conner...I have a Conner 420MB one as well :)

For that ISA card, I think I have exactly the same one.... :?
But don't have any manuals left...

Are 320kb floppies able to read on 1.2M drives?

I'm not too sure about /that/ particular card, but I've had a CGA and an EGA monitor back in the day and run them off the same card. Because these were completely different beasts, (unlike todays 15-pin VGA/SVGA/etc monitors), you had to tell the card exactly what you were going to plug into it. (it wasn't even as simple as CGA, EGA, MDA/Hercules and VGA). The varients (and forgive me if I miss a few out) were:

Mono EGA
350 line EGA,
200 line EGA,
EGA graphics with a CGA display (40 columns)
As above but with 80 columns
MDA (text only AFAICR)
CGA with 80 columns
CGA with 40 columns

The other possibility is that one of the switches could also be the allocation of ROM memory. A true 'genuine' EGA has a 16k ROM. However, some manufacturers added more to allow space for additonal fonts and such like. Which reminds me, there may even be switches to change the default font (multi-language support, etc)

heh, that extra connector at the top reminds me of my Ati vga wonder- what did it do anyway? one of my floppy cables fit on it.

Also from here, your HDDs look similar to a few I have. the top one is a fujitsu and the other one is Quantum, right?
