I have been trying to play videos formatted for my iPod on my computer. However, when I play these videos, the colors are distorted as you can see in this screenshot: Image
(the same thing happens in iTunes)

However, when I watch the video on my iPod, the picture is perfect.

Any suggestions? Any help is greatly appreciated.

EDIT: one thing I forgot: when I put my mouse over the picture in iTunes and the little play/volume/location bar comes up, the picture is fine until the bar disappears.

EDIT 2: Changed title from mp4 Encoding to mp4 Decoding - DUH!

Have you tried playing them in VLC or Media Player Classic?

maybe the setting in quicktime have been edited or the options in your video card are changed, these are the overlay settings.
