wiimote on PC? Anyone done this?

Post by spaceship9 »

I heard there was a way to use the wiimote with a PC by using a bluetooth.
Has anyone don't that here? Because i don't want to buy a wiimote and a bluetooth adapter if someone knows it doesn't work...

sound simple but really i don't want to buy a wiimote because if it doesn't work, i have a wiimote and no wii...

and I think after your done, to reuse it with the wii, you just hold down the 1 & 2 buttons beside the wii, just like when you connect it to the PC

true
but you don't get the "k00l" factor...
"Hey! What mouse do you use?"
"A wiimote. why?"
" "
that just doesn't happen with anything else..
but of course if it doesn't work, it wont even happen with that..

It's pretty cool to use it as a game controller. If you're on Windows, use GlovePIE. Also, make sure you use the Bluetooth stack provided by the manufacturer of the adapter; the stack included in Windows will not work with the Wiimote. If you take things slow, it isn't hard to do at all.

well, i have it working and actually its pretty good
but performance was vastly improved when I made and used a "fake" IR bar...
but i still prefer the wiimote on the wii..
