Ooh, good deal...

I got me a Compaq Armada 1700 (Pentium II 266MHz with 160MB RAM and all drives intact) today for £2 (~$4USD), dunno if it works yet but when I get me a cloverleaf power cable I'll find out...

...oh, it's missing its keyboard though.

Got a DELL Latitude CPx J650GT for free, 12Gb hdd, 256mb ram, PIII 650. Added a 40Gb hdd and loaded XP on it. Runs really well, it's my school laptop now :P

Also got 2 Inspiron 7000's as well for free. One with a 14" display and the other with a 15" display. Only problem was no HDD's or HDD caddies. Got 2 of them for free later on though :D

Just bought myself a Toshiba Satellite A100 for $600 CAD. Runs Windows Vista Home Premium now :D

So, my turn:
I got:
Intel CA810 mainboard
Celeron 400MHz CPU
2x64MB RAM
for: Mobo: 1.22zł (about 0.4$) CPU: 0.12zł (about 0.04$) RAM: 2.44zł (0.8$)
Now PC based on these parts is working as office computer (Win98 and Office xp).
Where? there are some sales of military scrap. Unfortunately no grenades or machine guns :(... But, there are some computers. For example: full computer (case, some guts inside, sometimes with 14" monitor) costs about 6.22zł (2$). Of course you don't know is it good. Once I bought a laptop computer (IBM TP Model 6042) for 25zł (8$), but I don't have a SCSI hard drive for it.
