Asus are releasing new "Vista Edition" motherboards which are optimised for Windows Vista. They include an onboard 512MB USB drive for ReadyBoost, a remote control and a connector for a TPM chip (ack!). I think the most interesting part of the Vista Edition motherboards is the external Windows SideShow display. They have made a QVGA (320x240) display that sits on your desk (it's got a stand so you can prop it up like a photoframe), connects to your machine with USB, and shows you your SideShow gadgets. Nice.

I like the flash drive idea as well – nice for having a small OS for recovery purposes on there :)
