hey folks,

I found out today that I can install a RTM LP on my Sp1 copy (Build 18000).

Use the LP exe 's from this thread:

http://betaarchive.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1332

Download the right one and start the .exe , wait a moment until the LP Install Window appears. then u have to rename the lp.cab quickly and close the Window afterwards.

Then move the file to a folder on C: , I used LP

then goto Run and type:

pkgmgr.exe /ip /m:C:\LP\LP.cab

.....wait until pkgmgr.exe disappears in taskmgr and restart your PC.

Now u could delete the LP folder and apply the new language in system properties.

Have fun!

Markus

this LP is only for Vista. You have to rebame the lp.cab to something like this: lp_deu.cab to prevent the Exe to delete the cab.
