For those living in NZ the wait is finally over. Next week telecom will releae a 'all you can eat' plan for $60NZD, the sad thing is that large downloads will have slower speeds at peak times.

that was absolute bullshit that plan. We had it but then they stopped offering it and we had to eventually stop it as xtra/telecom started filtering everything. I couldn't even run steam (they said it wasn't them, but as soon as we changed plans it worked again). My flat is with slingshot who offer unlimited downloads between 1am and 7am

How can they call the peak times broadband it was 128k which is isdn speed. We nearly got the plan too. The new one is gonna be limited on big files only from 9am to 2am each day so you get 5 hours full speed for big files like torrenting and that. I looked it up on telecoms site. I still ain't switchen. Everyone left telecom and now our internets way faster and people on other isps have it way slower.

Guys, its not going to work out for you lol

Your internet and phones are worse than ours haha. You can get 200GB/mth ADSL2 here for $80 a month but its horribly overloaded and speeds are pretty much capped at 440kbps 24/7.

You'll get sub dialup speeds all the time :S Good luck

e: you can get guaranteed 256kbps unlimited here for $30 a month - thats a guaranteed 80GB a month
