Don't worry, I am on top of it. However I can't see 7032 on the M1 server, so you must be mistaken or I've had yet another day with too much blood and too little caffeine.....

And thanks Hounsell for making these bootable :P.

It's not. I have posted this already in this thread, but I had to cancel the 7032, because the torrent died and eventually got deleted from demonoid's tracker.

If someone has an alternative torrent that is working, feel free to PM me with it.

Added a 7032 x64 Torrent. Seems that it does have a seed, so expect a similar story to 7048 yesterday - Very slow as the initial seeder has a very slow connection.

It's nice that you can still use beta keys to activate this build. It saves me a lot of reformatting. :D

Guys, I'm finally confused with 7048 x64 releases.

I found that currently I have:

7048_x64_Ultimate_EN_DVD - originally released folder with the contents, 3,31GB
Windows.7.Build.7048.x64.iso - an ISO released later based on the previous folder, I think, 3,31GB
7048.0.090219-1845_client_en-us_Ultimate-GB1CULXFRE_EN_DVD.iso - an ISO downloaded from torrent at thepiratebay called Windows 7 Beta (7048-0-090219-1845) Ultimate 64 bit DVD Interim, 3,29GB.

So my question is: is this last ISO is original or is it another ISO built on leaked foder contents? And why does it have a different size?

Thanks!

they are all the same.

Get them from here, then they are tested and they work and are the right build.

They aren't the same because they obviously have difference. 8-) I'm interested what is the exact difference between 3,31GB and 3,29Gb ISOs if anybody knows it.

Compiling the iso using cdimage with -o (optimize) will yield a smaller image since same files are not repeated in compiling.
If you exact the files, you'll find the exact same size.

If you don't find the same size, some files could be removed. As long as the install.wim is the same size, there is no difference.

I have checked the ISO from TPB (3,29GB) and for some reason it does not contain the Starter Edition.
Also the time stamps are different and the ISO was created with OSCDIMG 2.55 instead of CDIMAGE 2.54.

But it seems to be genuine....

Looks like MS compiled two different versions of 7048x64,
7048.0.090219-1845_client_en-us_Ultimate-GB1CULXFRE_EN_DVD.iso - this one containing all editions expect Starter Edition
7048.0.090219-1845_x64fre_client_en-us_Retail_Ultimate-GB1CULXFRER_EN_DVD.iso - and this one containing all editions.

EDIT: I made a mistake, did not compare both x64 ISOs, I compared the x86 ISO and the x64 ISO from TPB - forget what I wrote above^^

I don't think so, the files are also missing inside the install.wim and
the time stamps inside the install.wim are different too :S

EDIT: Dunnow what I did here... must have been drunk or something like this ^^

So the possibility of someone taken out Starter from WIM is there, that's why some files are missing, and files timestamp are different too...

Daniel, wow, it's intriguing. But could you explaing, what is time stamp, please? If I understand right it's an entry with the information about when the WIM was compiled? And what is the difference between stamps of the WIM consisting of leaked ISO contents and this one?

Damn, forget what I wrote above, I made a big mistake when comparing the ISOs.

Instead of comparing both x64 ISOs, I compared the 7048x86 ISO with the 7048x64 ISO from TPB.
That's why there is a difference - the x86 version contains the Starter Edition, the x64 version does not.

But the 64-bit version from TPB (3.29GB) is identical to the one BA (3.31GB) has. Most likely they differ in
size because one of them was made with OSCDIMG 2.55 and the other was was made with CDIMAGE 2.54;
both of them are made from the leaked files, they are both not "untouched".

Sorry for posting false information in the previous posts, my bad! ^^

@Raiker: with time stamp I mean the dates of the files on the ISOs.

Probably you could try to repack the one from TPB with CDIMAGE 2.54 and see if the size and hash matches one from BA

So Windows 7 Starter Edition will only come out in x86, not x64 during RTM.
