Just now saving the (bootable) ISO to the server.

Will be done shortly.

Hounsell, can you remove the upload limit on the 7048 torrent?

Afraid not. Need the rest of the bandwidth for the FTP (Which is now ready :D - 500KB/s per person iirc)

The problem is, like Andy, I had to get an extra USB hard drive. However, unlike Andy, I have a Celeron in the server, and the extra CPU usage that USB takes over something like IDE, SATA or SCSI is really noticeable. Factor in the speed limitations of USB, and I can only get about 4.5MB/s consistent upload.

Refresh. You must have first viewed it as it was saving. It's the full 3.3Gb now :)

Did anyone check to see if the 7032 leak is real.

I think it was. But it died before it had the chance to take off, so that's a non-leak really. :(

So hounsell, you've confirmed that 7048 is real? 3.3GB fake with 70kB/s download speed isn't something nice to do...

I haven't installed it myself, but the files are signed, which means they can't have been reshacked, and WinFuture, who had the build before, are confirming the leak as real apparently.

7048 is a candidate for the Windows 7 RC. There has been changes to UAC, new start orb, updated icons, and performance improvements. There is a lot more than that of course...

Anyway, in the last month alone we had at least 3 leaks, that's pretty overwhelming

Not to be off topic here, but I've sited build 7032 on Isohunt, it seems it's the same one that was on Mininova before it was deleted. I'm getting pretty good speeds with it now...

Edit: The seeds are gone for now.... ssshheessh

Why don't you just get it from M-1 server?

I was unaware it was on the server. The last I heard, the torrent was deleted off of Mininova and noone else has been able to get it....I must be off in lala land.

Thanks for the acknowledgment. :D Anyway, is the possible with Vista as well, or is keeping all settings/programs intact after upgrade new to Windows?

IMO you can upgrade from Vista, since it's the official upgrade path available for Windows 7.
